Polda Metro Asked To Confiscate Jokowi's Original Certificate, Roy Suryo Cs Alludes To The Danger Of Solo's House Fire

JAKARTA - The Ulema and Activist Defenders Team (TPUA) and Roy Suryo asked the Polda Metro Jaya to confiscate the original diploma belonging to the 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). This is because there are concerns about the loss of evidence in the alleged defamation and slander case.

TPUA's attorney, Ahmad Khozinudin, said that the concern was based on an odd incident that occurred when handling a case in Indonesia.

"There are concerns that if we don't confiscate, there are already many cases that have not been completed, it's a fire (example) at the Attorney General's Office again examining certain cases of fire," said Khozinudin to reporters, Monday, July 21.

Khozinudin also gave an example of a fire at Pramuka Market. The incident was considered odd because it coincided with the disclosure of counterfeiting modes.

In fact, Khozinudin also referred to a similar incident that could occur at Jokowi's residence. Therefore, as an anticipatory measure, investigators from the Polda Metro Jaya were asked to immediately confiscate the diploma of Jokowi's Universita Gajah Mada (UGM) Faculty of Forestry.

"Khawair juga ini ya. Belum sampai ke persidangan tiba-tiba rumah dari pelapor di Solo kebakaran dan dokumen itu kan hilang abahaya itu kan. Maka seharusnya harus disita terlebih terlebih dahulu oleh penyidik di Polda Metro Jaya," sebutnya.

Not only that, Khozinudin also asked the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation to conduct a special case for alleged defamation and slander related to fake diplomas reported by Jokowi.

The request for a special case will be submitted through a letter addressed to the Head of the Wassidik Polda Metro Jaya.

"We would like to submit a request or request for a special case title in the process of Mr. Jokowi's report," said Khozinudin.

Previously reported, Polda Metro Jaya stated that the alleged defamation case related to allegations of fake diplomas reported by the 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has been upgraded to the investigation stage.

The decision to increase the status of the case is based on the results of a case conducted by the State Security Sub-Directorate (Kamneg) on Thursday, July 10.

"Based on the title of the case last night, it was concluded that the first police report, the reporter was the brother of an HJW engineer, in the investigation process that had been carried out in the case title, it was concluded that an alleged criminal incident was found so that the case was upgraded to the investigation stage," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam.
