JAKARTA - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the satirical cartoons of Prophet Muhammad and Musa in Leman Magazine. He considered it a form of "devil provocation".
"We will not let anyone speak out against our sacred values," Erdogan said in a televised statement.
He added that the people involved in making the cartoons would be prosecuted. At least 4 Leman Magazine cartoonists were detained on Monday night.
"Those who show disrespect for our Prophet and other Prophets will be held accountable before the law," said Erdogan.
