Not Receiving The Motorbike Reprimanded, The Man Slashed Jukir In Makassar

JAKARTA - Afdal Syamsuddin (25) a parking attendant at a mini market on Jalan Muhammad Yamin, Makassar, South Sulawesi, has become a victim of a stabbing and is currently pursuing the suspect.

"We are paying attention. The team is still pursuing the alleged perpetrator. The cellphone (suspected perpetrator) is dead (inactive)," said Makassar Police Chief Kompol Muhammad Tamrin, Sunday.

He emphasized that his party paid attention to the case considering that at the time of the incident the perpetrator's actions were caught on CCTV so that it became the basis for a series of investigations.

So far, the Resmob team has been pursuing the police, it is still unclear where the perpetrators are. In addition, the parents of the perpetrators have also been summoned by the police.

"If the victim's family knows the whereabouts of the perpetrator, immediately report it to the police. The parents of the alleged perpetrator also do not cooperate, they do not want to tell where their child is," said Tamrin.

Previously, the incident occurred on June 16, 2025. The victim was hacked by the alleged perpetrator along with a number of his colleagues at the mini market on Jalan Muhammad Yamin, Makassar District.

At that time, the suspect took his mother with him to shop, but did not go inside and only waited outside. Because the position of the motorbike was running low and it was considered blocking the road, the victim reprimanded him three times, but he replied with a ketus tone.

Not accepting being reprimanded and storing emotions, then leaving without waiting for his mother, it turned out that he called his colleague and brought along a machete and then attacked the victim violently many times.

"I warned him to give his motorbike in for blocking the road and not traffic jams, but ignored. Not long after, about 10 minutes he came with his friend. There I was immediately attacked," said Afdal.

As a result of the attack, the victim suffered machete wounds to the cheeks, left ribs and knees. Luckily, the victim had tried to escape until his life survived. There were six stitches on his cheeks and ribs after receiving medical treatment.

After the incident, the next day the victim was accompanied by her parents to report to the Makassar Police. There are CCTV footage as evidence taken by the police. However, the family assessed that the handling of the police was slow, even the parents of the alleged perpetrators continued to approach him to make peace.
