BANDUNG - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian officially opened the second batch of regional heads at the Interior Education Institute (IPDN) campus, Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency, West Java.
Tito explained that the series of regional heads in the second wave of IPDN was to strengthen unity as a nation.
"The aim of this retreat in general is to strengthen and strengthen the values of unity as a nation and state," Tito said in his opening speech as well as material presentation at IPDN as reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 23.
The choice of this IPDN, said Tito, is so that regional heads can more easily access training locations than the previous location in the Magelang Military Academy.
"The purpose of IPDN is that it is easier for gentlemen who are often in Jakarta to come here because they are close to Bandung rather than from Magelang," he said.
The results of this series of regional heads in the second wave, said Tito, will be reported to the President in the hope that regional heads can follow well to hear the direction of the central policy directly from the main resource person, without forgetting their obligation to work for their regions by distance.
"I'll report it to the President. Regional heads can refresh their work via zoom, and listen to the policies of the central government directly from the main Narsum," said the Minister of Home Affairs.

The second batch of regional heads on the IPDN Campus will take place from Monday to Thursday (26/6) next evening.
