JAKARTA - A female police officer (Polwan) with the initials NH (31) was targeted by a robbery victim while crossing Jalan Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta. As a result of this incident, the victim's pink iPhone 13 was confiscated by the perpetrators.

The robbery took place very quickly, the perpetrator took the victim's cellphone from behind. The victim also reported the incident to the SPKT Polda Metro Jaya.

Responding to the report, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, instructed the Criminal Investigation Unit to move quickly.

"As soon as we received the report, the Kamneg Unit Precision Buser Team immediately moved quickly. With a quick response, the two perpetrators were arrested," he said when confirmed, Wednesday, June 18.

The first suspect with the initials FR (24) was arrested in the Bongkaran area, Tanah Abang on Tuesday night, June 17.

The first suspect is a resident of Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang, he acts as a motorcyclist as well as an executor of the confiscation.

Furthermore, the second suspect with the initials DFN (28), was arrested in the Kramat Pulo area, Senen District. From the hands of the suspect DFN, the police confiscated evidence in the form of an iPhone 13 belonging to the victim.

DFN is a woman, the girlfriend of the suspect FR. In his action, DFN, who is listed as a resident of Kramat Senen, acts as a companion in every crime.

From the results of the examination, the suspect with the initials FR is the perpetrator of a relapse who has carried out various robbery actions four times in Jakarta.

"FR admitted that the snatch of the policewoman's cellphone was sold to someone with the initials DK for Rp600 thousand. The money was used for daily needs," he said.

In his crime, suspect FR was recorded as having snatched Samsung A13's cellphone on Jalan Binus, West Jakarta in April 2025.

Then the Infinix cellphone on Jalan Benhil, Central Jakarta on May 9, 2025. The Infinix cellphone in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta on June 3, 2025. And the iPhone 12 at the downstream Dam, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta on June 15, 2025.

Currently, the two perpetrators are undergoing further investigation and are charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with weight, with a maximum penalty of seven years in prison.
