JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Head of Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory (BPH Migas) Erika Retnowati today, June 16. He was examined as a witness in the corruption case of buying and selling PT PGN gas with PT Inti Alasindo Energi (IAE).
"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters, Monday, June 16.
Budi said investigators also summoned two other witnesses. They are Tutuka Ariadji as the former Director General of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for the period 2021 and Sentot Harijady Bradjanto Tri Putro who is the Director of Gas BPH Migas for the period 2021.
"The KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses of alleged corruption related to the sale and purchase of gas between PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) and PT Inti Alasindo Energy (IAE) in the 2017 '2021 period," he explained.
Previously reported, the KPK detained two suspects in the corruption case of selling gas between PT PGN and PT Inti Alasindo Energi (IAE) on Friday, April 11. They are Danny Praditya as former Commercial Director of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) and Iswan Ibrahim as former Commissioner of PT IAE.
In this case, the KPK has examined 75 people and experts from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). Danny and Iswan are suspected of having harmed state finances of 15 million US dollars due to buying and selling gas that is not in accordance with the rules.
