Immediately Tried, Former Ngada Police Chief Suspect Of Sexual Violence Detained At The NTT Police Headquarters

KUPANG - Former Ngada Police Chief Fajar Widyadharma Lukman Sumaatma was detained at the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Headquarters after being picked up by a team from the General Criminal Investigation Directorate from the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta.

Director of General Criminal Investigation of the NTT Police, Kombes Patar Silalahi, said that Fajar together with the East Nusa Tenggara Police Ditreskrimum arrived at El Tari Airport, Kupang, on Thursday morning at 06.05 WITA.

"It was picked up yesterday (Wednesday, 4/6) and arrived this morning. There were four personnel who picked him up at the National Police Headquarters," Patar said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 5.

Former Ngada Police Chief Fajar Widyadharma was picked up from the National Police Headquarters to undergo further legal proceedings for cases of alleged sexual violence against minors.

Fajar will be handed over to the local prosecutor's office next week after Eid al-Adha after his case file is declared complete (P21) by the NTT High Prosecutor's Office.

"After the holiday (Edul Adha) it was only handed over to the prosecutor's office," he said.

When he arrived at El Tari Airport, Fajar looked fatter with a slightly long haircut. When he was brought to the car of the NTT Police, the hand of the former Ngada Police Chief was seen handcuffed.

Fajar wears brown trousers and a collared white t-shirt and black masks.

Previously, the investigating prosecutor from the NTT High Prosecutor's Office stated that the case file for sexual violence against children under the age of the former Ngada Police Chief AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman Sumaatmaja was complete or P21 and was immediately tried.

"Because the formal requirements and material requirements have been met in the case file of the former Ngada Police Chief, today the file has been declared P21," said Head of Legal Information for the NTT Prosecutor's Office AA Raka Putra Dharmana to ANTARA when confirmed in Kupang, Wednesday (21/5) night.

This was conveyed by Raka Putra regarding the development of the case of the former Ngada Police Chief who sexually assaulted an underage child who was still in elementary school.

Not only committing sexual violence, Fajar, who has now been fired from the National Police membership, also recorded his actions when he sexually assaulted the victim.

The video he then sent to one of the porn sites, to then benefit from his actions. The video was later discovered by the Australian police and reported the matter to the National Police Headquarters.
