Not Only Police, But The DKI Provincial Government Also Installed Check Points At 12 Points To Monitor For Homecoming Residents

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, said that his party has prepared 12 checkpoints to monitor the movement of residents going home to their hometowns.

"Regarding supervision, we have carried out traffic blocking until May 17, 2021", said Riza in a virtual coordination meeting of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Sunday, May 2.

Riza said checkpoint locations are divided into two types, namely on arterial or non-toll roads and transportation mode nodes.

On the arterial road, check points start from Kalideres, Joglo, Coconut huts (Lampiri), Panasonic, Perintis Kemerdekaan, Pasar Jumat, and Budi Luhur.

"This point is beyond what our friends from the National Army and the National Police (TNI-Polri) have prepared", said Riza.

Then, the checkpoints at the transportation nodes are at Pulogebang Terminal, Kalideres Terminal, Gambir Train Station, the entrance and exit of Tanjung Priok Port, and the exit and entrance of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.

"We are also controlling the shadow terminal public transport with the Indonesian National Police, controlling road transport along with the Indonesian National Police", he said.

In this connection, Regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya) has also prepared 31 security posts consisting of 14 insulating points and 17 security posts or checkpoints.

The Siphon Cibeet Bridge, Bekasi, West Java is one of the insulating points for the 2021 Eid homecoming. This route is an alternative road that connects Bekasi and Karawang Regencies.

Then the other blocking points are the Cikarang Barat and Kedungwaringin Toll Gates, Bekasi. It is important to know if the officer will close the toll gate to Cikampek, including Cikampek Layang (elevated).

Even though the Eid al-Fitr homecoming is prohibited by the government, those of you who have an exit-entry permit (SIKM) can still enter and enter DKI Jakarta and are free to pass through security posts without having to make a U-turn.
