Pemko Medan Helps Manage Mosque Waqf Land Certificate

MEDAN - Pemko Medan is ready to assist in the processing of waqf land certificates for local mosques.

"We will assist in the management of the mosque's donated land certificate, so that there are no more problematic or evicted mosques in Medan," said Deputy Mayor of Medan, Aulia Rachman in Medan, quoted by Antara, Friday, April 30.

Pemko Medan asked the mosque nephew body (BKM) to complete the requirements, including the file for the management of the donated land for places of worship.

In addition, he said, his party also reminded the local BKM to coordinate with the head of the environment and village heads in order to revive the maghrib of the Koran in each mosque.

The Deputy Mayor said that through routine maghrib recitation activities, it is hoped that the forerunners of reciter and qariah will be born in the capital of North Sumatra Province.

"Look for a good Koran reciting teacher to teach our children. So that our children's morals will be better, and able to make Medan City proud," said Aulia who is also a Gerindra Party politician.
