The Case Of Alleged Fictional Journey Of West Pasaman DPRD, West Sumatra, Rises Investigation

JAKARTA - The West Pasaman District Prosecutor's Office, West Sumatra, again raised the status of a case that is being handled from investigation to investigation, Friday, April 30.

As for the case that was upgraded to investigation, there was an allegation of deviations from a fictitious official trip at the West Pasaman DPRD Secretariat for the 2018 and 2019 Fiscal Years.

Head of the West Pasaman District Attorney, Ginanjar Cahya Permana, through Section Head (Kasi) Intel Elianto, said that the budget for official travel in the West Pasaman 2018 DPRD secretary was Rp. 19,995,475,482 of the total budget of Rp. 34,905,479,482.

"Meanwhile, the budget for 2019 which was absorbed was IDR 18,717,210,489 of the total budget of IDR 32,015,823,405," he said.

He said that the investigating team of the West Pasaman District Attorney had conducted an expose or title of the case related to the case.

In the title of the case, the investigating team found sufficient preliminary evidence related to the alleged corruption case that occurred at the DPRD Secretariat.

"Related parties have also been summoned at the investigation stage and later a recall will be made to the investigation process to complete the case files," he said.

He hopes that there will be no more actions with the same mode in West Pasaman in the future.

"Currently, we are in the process of filing and requesting an audit of state losses. As well as a team of investigators to complete the files requested by the auditors as calculation material," he said.

He added that in the last two months the West Pasaman District Attorney had raised three investigative cases, including cases of alleged corruption in the construction of the West Pasaman Education Office Hall for the 2016 Fiscal Year with a contracted ceiling of Rp1,232,044,000.

Then the alleged criminal case for the construction of an indoor tennis court at the Spatial Planning Public Works Office for the 2018 Fiscal Year with a ceiling of contracted funds of IDR 1,391,930,000.

As well as the alleged deviation of fictitious official travel at the West Pasaman DPRD Council Secretariat (Sekwan) for the 2018 and 2019 fiscal years.

"The determination of the suspect will be carried out as soon as possible while filing and waiting for the audit of state losses," he said.
