Makassar Police arrested six alleged jockey syndicates on the implementation of the 2025 Test-Based National Computer-Selection Based Writing Examination (UTBK-SNBT), at Hasanuddin University Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"This act was revealed after a report from the Deputy Dean of the three Faculty of Law after the Defense University (Amir Ilyas) on suspicion of computer activity used in the exam," said Makassar Police Chief Kombes Arya Perdana as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 7.

The six perpetrators, each with the initials AL, ZR, MY, IT, MS, and CAF, have been named suspects.

These perpetrators have their respective roles and one of the jockeys with the initials CAF is female and is known to be a student of the Faculty of Medicine Unhas.

The suspects were threatened with Article 30 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code in conjunction with 56 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code. For a maximum penalty of 9 years in prison.
