Samarinda Police, East Kalimantan, is hunting for the shooter at a nightclub, on Jalan Imam Bonjol, Samarinda, early Sunday, which resulted in the death of one person.

"At around 04.30 WITA, right near the gate of the nightclub, there was a shooting with the autopsy results completed on Sunday afternoon showing five gunshot scars on the victim's body," said Samarinda Police Chief Kombes Hendri Umar in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Antara, Sunday, May 4.

"He went back and forth like monitoring. He shot the victim and ran towards Jalan Ahmad Dahlan," said AG.

The witness added that when the victim came out of the nightclub and walked towards his parked car, the perpetrator immediately grabbed the victim on a motorbike and shot four times.

"The perpetrator shot while still on the motorbike. The last shot was up, people panicked and dispersed," he explained.

The victim, lying unconscious, was then rushed to the hospital by local residents.
