The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Is Investigating Allegations Of Corruption In The Procurement Of Goods At The Mempawah Public Works Service

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption related to the procurement of goods at the Mempawah District Public Works (PU) Office, West Kalimantan. This investigation was discovered after investigators searched a number of locations in the area.

"The investigation of the alleged corruption case in the procurement of goods at the Mempawah Public Works Service," said Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, to reporters in a written statement, Monday, April 28.

While on a separate occasion, KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika has not been able to detail where the search is. Investigators are still moving to look for evidence that corroborates the allegation.

"For information (search, red) is still ongoing. For this reason, the case cannot be disclosed first, who is the suspect," said Tessa to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

As previously reported, the KPK searched a number of locations to look for evidence of alleged corruption in West Kalimantan Province. The exact position is reported in Mempawah Regency.

"It's true, KPK investigators conducted a search in the Regency in West Kalimantan Province," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement on Sunday.

"For the details of the case and others will be conveyed after the entire series of activities have been completed," he concluded.
