Police Are Investigating Cases Of Deadly Accidents Of 2 Motorists Who Died On Jalan Metro Pondok Indah

JAKARTA - The police are investigating an accident on Jalan Metro Pondok Indah, precisely near the Pondok Indah Golf Apartment, South Jakarta on Sunday at 09.00 WIB which resulted in the death of two people with the initials M (20) and H (30).

"We are still investigating traffic accidents that caused injuries or death and vehicle damage," said South Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head, Kompol Agung Wuryanto in Jakarta, Sunday.

The accident began when the Honda CBR motorcycle with police number B 6967 WET driven by M drove from south to north on Jalan Metro Pondok Indah.

Arriving near Pondok Indah Golf Apartment, the driver lost control and fell and hit a pedestrian at the location.

As a result of this incident, the two victims died.

"Yes (died), the one who crashed into the same one who was hit," he said.

After the incident, the motorcyclist, M, suffered serious injuries to his head, hands, and legs, and had received medical treatment at the Bhayangkara Lemdiklat Hospital of the Police before being declared dead.

Meanwhile, pedestrian H who died was taken to Fatmawati Hospital due to severe head injuries.

Until now, the Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

"The handling steps have been taken, such as processing the crime scene to gathering information from witnesses," he said.

A number of pieces of evidence have been secured, including motorcycles Honda CBR, STNK, and driver's SIM C.
