Coblong Police Chief Kompol Riki Erickson said the perpetrator was desperate to arrest an employee using rope and duct tape before stealing Rp20 million in cash.

"While it is being handled, we have processed the crime scene, the owner has reported it to the Bandung Police," said Commissioner Riki in Bandung, quoting ANTARA on Sunday.

The police chief said that the incident at the Jaya Motor dealer, the area of Jalan Cikutra. After detaining the victim, the perpetrator immediately took the money at the location.

Kompol Riki explained that the perpetrator carried out the action by climbing the motorcycle dealer fence.

After successfully climbing the fence, the perpetrator entered the area of the dealer's yard.

"The guard was taped and twisted, there was a wound on the left hand," he said.

The police have conducted a crime scene (TKP) and received a report from the dealer owner.

Until now, the number of perpetrators is still being identified. "The perpetrators are being traced and handled," he said.
