TANGERANG SELATAN A marawis teacher with the initials AA was arrested by the police after being suspected of sexually harassing three minors with the initials R (7), H (7), and R (9). The incident occurred in the Ciputat area, South Tangerang, on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

The Head of the East Ciputat Police, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, explained that the disclosure of this case began with reports from the public who entered through the East Ciputat Police Hotline.

"After receiving the report, we immediately followed up by visiting the scene and arresting the perpetrator," said Bambang when confirmed, Tuesday, April 15.

Based on the initial information from the victims, the perpetrators were known to be marawists teachers who had been teaching them.

"When we interrogated, the children finally admitted that they had been victims of harassment. The perpetrators were known to be their marawical teachers," said Bambang.

Currently, the perpetrators of AA have been handed over to the South Tangerang Police for further investigation and handling.

"The perpetrator has now been handled by the South Tangerang Police," he concluded.
