Munarman Deliberately Terrorized? Refly Harun: Hopefully It Will Be Fair And Not Transfer The Death Issue Of 6 FPI Troops

JAKARTA - Constitutional Law Expert Refly Harun hopes that the police will act fairly and correctly in processing cases of suspected terrorism. Former General Secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Munarman.

This is important to refute the rumors that have been developing so far about Munarman and Rizieq Shihab which are deliberately terrorized by certain parties. The goal is for FPI to become a forbidden organization.

"It would be sad if for example the rumors so far that Munarman, Habib Rizieq would be terrorized so that it would be legal to ban FPI, for example. Hopefully, we pray that our law enforcers will act fairly and act correctly", explained Refly Harun quoted by VOI on the Youtube channel @Refly Harun, Wednesday, April 28.

In law, it is important to apply the presumption of innocence. This includes, stressed Refly, about the alleged terrorism that whacked Munarman. He hopes that this principle will be put forward in the investigation of the Munarman case.

"Then hope that law enforcement officers act fairly, act correctly, act professionally, and act neutral".

"Hopefully this does not become a diversion to another case that needs to be resolved much more, namely the shooting of 6 FPI troops! We wish the best for this nation, for this republic, for all citizens, for the protection of all of us", said Refly.

Munarman was arrested by Densus 88 on Tuesday, April 27 at around 3:30 p.m. WIB at Modern Hills Housing, Cinangka, Pamulang, South Tangerang.

Munarman is suspected of mobilizing other people to commit criminal acts of terrorism, conspiring to commit crimes of terrorism, and withholding information about criminal acts of terrorism.

After Munarman was arrested, the Densus 88 Team also searched the former FPI banned mass organization office, Petamburan, Central Jakarta. During the search, the team found the explosive raw materials for TATP or triacetone triperoxide, acetone, and nitrate.
