Ancol Lagoon Beach Becomes The Choice Of Eid Holiday Destinations

JAKARTA - The Lagoon Ancol Beach area, North Jakarta is one of the choices of community tourist sites during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 H holiday on the first day.

According to ANTARA's monitoring, around the beach, it appears that many people are doing activities playing sand and swimming, as well as having a picnic under palm trees to relax with their families. However, parking for vehicles is still quite easy to get because it is not too crowded.

Among the visitors was Gita from Cilacap, Central Java, who chose to vacation in Ancol with her family because she was more economical and close to her parents' house.

"Here it happens to be from a place to live and yes it's cheaper and more economical," Gita said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 31.

He also said that only this year he and his family went to Ancol to enjoy the holidays.

Not only Gita, another visitor, Sela from Cakung also chose Ancol as a tourist destination during Lebaran. He said Ancol is an easy-to-reach location and a good place to take a walk.

"Just come here for Eid holidays, it's good to take a walk with family," said Sela.

He also admitted that not only did Eid this year spend a vacation in Ancol but he had also done it several times, including last year. On average, visitors also want to spend their time in the beach area until the afternoon while waiting for the sun to set.

In the Lagoon Ancol Beach area in addition to playing on the beach, visitors can also rent tourist boats that serve travel routes around the Ancol coast area such as several reclamation islands to Putri Duyung.

The provider of tourism boat services, Karsim, said that during Eid holidays like this, usually can transport approximately 20 people for two to three routes back and forth.

"There are at least five people, at most 20 people, if the group really does, so it doesn't get carried away either, but usually if the family is five people, if you wait no one will go up, we can walk," said Karsim.

For one trip, a maximum of 15 minutes is taken, with boat rental rates for adults of Rp. 20,000 and Rp. 10,000 for children. In addition to renting a boat, visitors can also walk through the Lagoon Beach area by riding an electric bicycle at a rate of Rp. 70,000 for one hour.

Meanwhile, Corporate Communication Manager of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Daniel Windriatmoko when contacted by ANTARA, Monday morning said that he set a target visit of 30,000 people on this year's Eid al-Fitr first holiday.

"The target for the visit is March 31, 2025, as many as 30,000 people," said Daniel.

Daniel also said that Ancol provides various activities to enliven the Eid holiday, including the promotion of family packages to recreation on several Ancol rides such as Atlantis, Dufan, and Samudra, Sea World, and Bird Land, as well as the entertainment stage at the peak of the event on April 11, 2025.
