Police Secure 200 Teenagers Of Motorcycle Convoys In West Jakarta

The West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team secured 200 teenagers who carried out a convoy while flying a gang flag and carrying firecrackers in the Rawa Buaya area, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. During the operation, the police also confiscated 15 firecrackers and 10 gangsters' flags.

Head of Samapta Polres Metro West Jakarta, AKBP M. Hari Agung Julianto, explained that security was carried out to prevent potential disturbances to public order.

"When the patrol team arrived at the location, we found about 200 teenagers in a convoy, waving the group's flag, and lighting firecrackers," said AKBP Hari Agung Julianto when confirmed, Thursday, March 27.

Although no sharp weapons or other suspicious items were found, the police still gave an appeal so that they would not carry out activities that could cause unrest, especially in the month of Ramadan.

"To avoid unwanted things, we immediately disbanded them and asked them to return to their homes," he added.

The police also invite the public to remain vigilant and immediately report if they find activities that have the potential to disrupt public order.
