Tulus Abadi at the Astra Infra Group Media Gathering event which was broadcast online in Jakarta, Thursday, March 13, suggested that travelers limit their rest time in the rest area, ideally no more than 30 minutes.

Menurut Tulus, bahwa pembatasan waktu ini memungkinkan pergantian pengguna rest area yang lebih cepat, sehingga mengurangi potensi queue panjang yang dapat meluas hingga jalur utama jalan tol.

Furthermore, Tulus suggested that travelers consider resting outside toll roads to reduce the accumulation of vehicles in toll road rest areas.

In addition, Tulus also said that if possible, use rest facilities outside toll roads to reduce congestion in rest areas. This often triggers traffic jams.

Please note, currently the length of toll roads operating in Indonesia reaches 3,049.49 kilometers, managed by 53 Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) with a total of 532 Toll Gates (GT).

Meanwhile, this 3,049.49.49-kilometer toll road network is expected to support the smooth flow of homecoming throughout Indonesia.

But keep in mind, even though the rest area is designed as a place of relaxation, vigilance against potential criminal acts such as theft is still needed. Always keep your personal items, avoid leaving valuables in the car, and make sure the vehicle is tightly locked before leaving.

Then before leaving the rest area and continuing the homecoming trip, carry out a thorough inspection of the condition of the vehicle.

Don't forget to check air pressure on tires, engines, fuel availability, and make sure all components are functioning properly.

This inspection aims to prevent unwanted incidents such as vehicles breaking down in the middle of the road or an accident.
