JAKARTA - Five staff of the United Nations (UNRWA) Palestinian aid agency, have died in recent days.
"In recent days, five other UNRWA staff have been confirmed dead, bringing the death toll to 284. They are teachers, doctors, and nurses: serving the most vulnerable", UNRWA Commissioner General Philippe Lazzarini said.
Lazzarini said he was worried that the worst would not happen as Israeli bombings continued by land and sea, as well as the ongoing ground invasion.
