JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has eliminated the odd-even motor vehicle system in Jakarta from March 28 to April 7, 2025.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the elimination of odd-even today coincided with the holiday period and leave with the celebration of Nyepi Holy Day and Eid al-Fitr.

"In connection with holidays and leave with Nyepi Holy Day Saka New Year 1977 and Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah on March 28, 2025 - April 7, 2025, the odd-even provisions in Jakarta are abolished," Syafrin said in his statement, Thursday, March 20.

Syafrin said that the determination of this holiday was based on the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 1017 of 2024, the Minister of Manpower Number 2 of 2024 and the Minister of Administrative Reform of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2024 concerning National Holidays and Joint Leave in 2025.

Then, Article 3 Paragraph (3) of Governor Regulation Number 88 of 2019 states that traffic restrictions with the odd-even system are not enforced on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays stipulated by a presidential decree.

"We are advised by vehicle drivers to always comply with existing traffic signs, prioritize road safety and follow the directions of officers in the field," he said.
