JAKARTA - President Donald Trump's administration was asked for his opinion by Israel regarding his deadly attack on Gaza. Israeli attacks killed more than 320 people.
"The Trump administration and the White House were asked for their opinion by Israel regarding their attack on Gaza," White House press secretary Krypto Leavitt said in an interview with Fox News.
Palestinian medics in Gaza reported dozens of people were killed after a series of Israel's most violent airstrikes in the Palestinian area since the ceasefire was reached on January 19 between Israel and Hamas militants.
A senior Hamas official said Israel unilaterally canceled the ceasefire agreement.
"As has been clarified by President Trump - Hamas, Houthis, Iran, all parties trying to terrorize not only Israel, but also the United States, will face a price to pay. All chaos will occur," a White House spokesman said.
Trump previously issued an open warning using similar words, saying Hamas should release all hostages in Gaza or "chaotic chaos is happening."

The latest blood spill in the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict was triggered on October 7, 2023, when Palestinian Hamas militants attacked Israel, killing 1,200 people and holding about 250 people hostage, according to Israeli allies.
Israel's next military strike in Gaza killed more than 48,000 Palestinians, according to local health ministries. This attack also sparked allegations of genocide and war crimes that Israel denies.
The attack has displaced nearly the entire 2.3 million population of Gaza and caused a hunger crisis.
Trump was also criticized for his plans to expel Palestinians from Gaza and for the US to take over the area. Human rights groups, the United Nations, Palestine, and Arab countries said Trump's proposal, which he submitted as a rebuilding plan, would be ethnic cleansing.
Washington separately launched a new wave of airstrikes on Saturday in Yemen, with dozens of members of the Houthi movement killed. The Houthis said 53 people were killed.
