Kapendam II Sriwijaya: Location Of 2 TNI Members Suspected Of Shooting 3 Police In Lampung Texas Area

JAKARTA - Kapendam/II Sriwijaya, Kolonel Inf Eko Syah Putra Siregar menyebutkan lokasi sabung ayam tempat penembakan tiga anggota polisi di Way Kanan, Lampung merupakan area Texas atau hitam.

Menurutnya, lokasi itu menjadi area Texas karena banyak beredar senjata api rakitan.

"Lokasi sabung ayam tempat penembakan tiga anggota polisi di Way Kanan, Lampung pada Senin 17 Maret 2025, merupakan area Texas atau hitam karena banyak beredar senjata api rakitan," kata Kolonel Inf Eko Syah Putra Siregar di Palembang, Selasa 18 Maret, disitat Antara.

Ia menerangkan, bagaimana penembakan tiga anggota polisi itu terjadi, bermula terdapat tim kepolisian yang melakukan penggerebekan dan mengeluarkan tembakan peringatan dan ada tembakan balik dari lokasi.

"Tembakan balik itu yang masih dalam investigasi, ini senjata yang digunakan apa dan siapa yang menembak masih dalam investigasi," katanya.

Ia menyebutkan bahwa keberadaan dua orang anggota diduga di lokasi saat ini telah menyerahkan diri di Denpom 23 Lampung. Namun dua anggota itu masih dalam proses pendalaman lebih lanjut.

Terkait keberadaan anggota di lokasi sabung ayam, bahwa keberadaan dua anggota itu masih dalam investigasi bersama Polda Lampung.

Sehingga untuk pertanyaan lain seperti anggota yang mengelola, memiliki tempat, bahkan senjata apa yang digunakan itu, kata dia, pihaknya masih melakukan investigasi.

"Apabila hasil investigasi membuktikan oknum TNI maka kami memastikan menindak tegas sesuai aturan," tandasnya.
