Head of the Batang Police Traffic Unit, Adjunct Commissioner of Police Ahmad Zainurrozaq, said the victim who died in the accident was a towing truck driver named Regar Arifin (28), a resident of Wonogiri Regency.

According to him, the accident began when the Mitsubishi towing truck numbered B 9116 KH driven by Regar Arifin (28) drove from west to east (Semarang).
