The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will examine Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok as a witness in the handling of cases of alleged corruption in crude oil and refinery products at PT Pertamina.
The plan is for the examination of Ahok, the former Pertamina Commissioner, to be carried out on Thursday, March 13.
"The plan is that (Ahok is examined) according to schedule tomorrow Thursday," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar, to VOI, Wednesday, March 12.
The examination of Ahko is scheduled to take place around 10:00 WIB. However, it is not certain regarding the presence of the PDI-P politician.
"We haven't monitored (Ahok's attendance conformation) yet," said Harli.
Ahok is known to have served as President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) since November 22, 2019 based on the Decree of the Minister of SOEs as the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of PT Pertamina (Persero) No.SK-282/MBU/11/2019 dated November 22, 2019.
Prior to serving as President Commissioner of Pertamina, Ahok served as a member of the East Belitung Regency DPRD for the period (2004), the East Belitung Regent for the period (2005), members of the DPR (2009), Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta (2012), and the Governor of DKI Jakarta (2014).
Ahok submitted a letter of resignation as President Commissioner of Pertamina on February 2, 2024. The resignation letter has been sent to the Ministry of SOEs as Pertamina's shareholder.
