JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin during a short stop in Ireland on his way to an important meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington.
Trump said Zelenskyy would visit Washington on Friday to sign an agreement on rare earth minerals, while Ukrainian leaders said the success of the agreement would depend on the negotiations and the continuation of US aid.
Reported by Reuters on Thursday, February 27, Zelenskyy thanked Martin for his support and the Irish people for the protection they provided against Ukrainians fleeing the Russian invasion in 2022.
