According to him, the Constitutional Court is still holding an examination hearing with the agenda of proving the PHPKD case in Siak Regency, on Monday, February 17 morning.

He said the trial with Case Number 73/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025 was chaired by Constitutional Justice Suhartoyo as Chairman of the Assembly, together with Constitutional Justice Daniel Yusmic P Foekh and Constitutional Justice M Guntur Hamzah as Members.

"This trial of the evidentiary agenda was carried out to hear the testimony of witnesses and experts presented by each party as well as Bawaslu's statement in explaining the results of prevention, supervision and process of handling violations carried out at each stage," he said.

At the trial, it was observed that the Petitioner presented expert Prof. Aswanto and three witnesses, the Respondent presented expert I Gusti Puti Artha and three witnesses, and finally the Related Party presented experts Nelson Simanjuntak and Ilham Saputra along with two witnesses.

He said the results of the Constitutional Court's decision regarding PHPKD in Siak Regency were the only cases received by the Constitutional Court, while six other cases were rejected by the Constitutional Court.

"Therefore, whatever the decision of the Constitutional Court judge, it is hoped that all Riau people can respect the democratic process and respond calmly," said Alnofrizal.
