Prabowo And Erdogan Exchange Souvenirs, From Assault Rifles, Keris To Calligraphy Decorations

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan showed their friendly moments by exchanging historic souvenirs on the sidelines of a series of state visits at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java.

President Prabowo handed over souvenirs in the form of typical Indonesian weapons and Keris to President Erdogan.

The weapon given is a 5.56 x 46 mm caliber assault rifle with SS2-V4A2 type. The assault rifle is a native Indonesian product made by PT Pindad with accurate firing accuracy.

In addition to weapons, President Prabowo also handed over keris to President Erdogan, namely Balinese, a keris commotion with a gerantim handle made of silver wrapped in gold and rubi gems.

Reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 12, replying to Prabowo's gift, President Erdogan also did not forget to bring a hand full of historical value to Prabowo.

The hand is in the form of white jars with pink flower ornaments. In addition, calligraphy decorations are in the form of poetry containing prayers and gratitude from the people of Java to Sultan Abdulmecid Khan and Muhammad Hasib Pasha, Governor Hejaz, and Sheikh of the land of Haram.

This poem contains prayers and gratitude for ensuring the security and peace of the holy land as well as the welfare of the people with a just government.

This friendly relationship is a momentum to strengthen the growing cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey.

This moment also reflects the spirit of partnership and strong brotherhood between the two countries.

In a series of state visits by Turkish President Erdogan to Indonesia, President Prabowo and Erdogan had a special moment to discuss privately namedte-a-tete.

At that moment, the two Heads of State were given time to have one-on-one discussions so that they could be more flexible in discussing many things.

After thete-a-tete was completed, a bilateral meeting attended by high-ranking officials from the two countries was held to ensure a number of agreements were reached for the two countries.
