Affected By IDR 20 T Efficiency, The National Police's Budget Drops To IDR 106 T

JAKARTA - Assistant to the Chief of Police for Planning and Budget (Astamarena) Komjen Wahyu Hadiningrat said that the Indonesian Police were affected by budget efficiency of Rp. 20.5 trillion from a budget ceiling of Rp. 126.6 trillion in 2025. So that after the reconstruction of the National Police budget, it is now only Rp. 106 trillion.

This was conveyed by Komjen Wahyu in a working meeting with partners of Commission III of the DPR at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 11.

"The National Police's budget post is in accordance with the letter from the Minister of Finance that the Police budget posture is IDR 126.6 trillion. Here, if we look at the shopping group, it consists of 46.9 percent of personnel expenditure of IDR 59.44 trillion, then 26.91 percent of goods expenditure consists of IDR 34.077 trillion. 26.14 percent of capital expenditure is IDR 33.09 trillion," said Komjen Wahyu.

Wahyu said the National Police divided the budget allocation based on two parts. Namely per program and per budget source.

"In each program, the professionalism of human resources is IDR 2.4 trillion, IDR 5.6 trillion in investigations, IDR 45.7 trillion in almatsus and infrastructure for IDR 20.3 trillion in harkamtikmas, and IDR 52.5 trillion in management support. Meanwhile, per source of this budget is divided into 6 starting from pure rupiah, PLN, PDN, PNBP, BLU, SBSN and RMP," he added.

Then in the reconstruction of the National Police's budget according to Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2025, Wahyu continued, the results of the meeting with the Ministry of Finance resulted in the total efficiency of the National Police's budget of IDR 20.5 trillion.

"This is 16.26 percent of the National Police's 2025 budget," said Wahyu.

If parsed, according to Wahyu, the expenditures affected by the reconstruction are goods expenditures and capital expenditures. Purchase of Rp6.6 trillion of goods amounted to 19.62 percent of the initial ceiling for goods expenditures. For capital expenditure, the amount is Rp13.9 of 42 percent of the initial ceiling for capital expenditures.

"The exercise process is being carried out. Then the follow-up to the budget reconstruction will result in the current Police budget posture to be IDR 106 trillion," said Komjen Wahyu.

"If we look at the two large groups, we will solve each type of budget and per source of budget. For per type of personnel expenditure to Rp59.4 T, the expenditure of goods is fixed, the expenditure of goods is Rp27.3, the capital expenditure is Rp19.1 trillion," he concluded.
