No Casualties In Fire At The Ministry Of ATR/BPN

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) revealed that the fire that had hit the ATR/BPN Ministry building in Jakarta did not cause any casualties.

"There were no casualties from this incident. Thank you for all forms of support, please pray that we can be stronger and able to work better," said Head of the News and Inter-Institutional Relations (PHAL) Section of the Public Relations Bureau (Humas) of the Ministry of ATR/BPN Risdianto Prabowo Samodro in Jakarta, Sunday, February 9.

He added that the fire that occurred at around 23.00 WIB occurred on the 1st Floor of the Public Relations Bureau.

"Regarding the fire that occurred at the Ministry of ATR/BPN. We need to convey that the fire broke out on the 1st floor of the Public Relations Bureau. The fire broke out at around 23.00 and was quickly handled by the Fire Department so that it did not spread to a wider area," he said.

The DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) managed to extinguish the fire that had hit the ATR/BPN Ministry Building, Jakarta, Saturday, February 9.

Information about the fire was received by the South Jakarta Fire Department, on Saturday at around 23.09 WIB. Officers were then immediately deployed to carry out extinguishing operations starting at 23.18 WIB.

Entering 23.45, the fire was successfully localized, and then a cooling process and smoke was carried out from the building.

Gulkarmat said that they sent 20 units of fire engines and 80 firefighters to the scene. Until now, the cause of the fire is not known.

In accordance with Article 4 of the Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 47 of 2020 concerning the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR) has the task of organizing government affairs in the fields of agrarian/land and spatial planning to assist the President in administering state government.
