The National Police Reveals Jozeph Paul Zhang's Real Name, Still An Indonesian Citizen

JAKARTA - The National Police has revealed that Jozeph Paul Zhang's real name is Shindy Paul Soerjomeoljono. This is known in the wanted list letter (DPO). With this real name, the police will hunt down his presence in Germany.

"The real name is the initials SPS. Because yesterday we reported it according to the JPZ account. The real name in the DPO is the initials SPS," said Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Tuesday, April 20.

The use of the name Shindy Paul Soerjomeoljono when tracing his whereabouts in Germany referred to passport data. In fact, based on the results of the tracking, none of these names had changed nationality.

"So on behalf of the SPS from 2017 to April 2021, no Indonesian citizen has revoked his citizenship," said Ramadhan.

"So looking at the data, SPS or JPZ is still an Indonesian citizen," he continued.

Previously, Jozeph Paul Zhang, through a video uploaded on the YouTube account Hagios Europe, said that he had given up Indonesian citizenship status. So, he did not think he could be arrested. If possible, only use European law.

Kabareskrim Polri, Komjen Agus Andrianto, denied this confession. Based on the data, he is still registered as an Indonesian citizen.

"From 2017 to 2021 there has been no application for revocation of citizenship in the name of JPZ," said Komjen Agus.
