There Are 170 Positive COVID-19 Patients In Yogyakarta

YOGYAKARTA - The Yogyakarta Special Region Government recorded that the number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 has increased by 170 people, bringing the total to 37,150 cases.

Spokesperson for the DIY Regional Government for Handling COVID-19 Berty Murtiningsih said based on the domicile area, the 170 positive patients consisted of 38 people from Yogyakarta City, 33 people from Bantul Regency.

Then 20 people from Gunung Kidul, 38 people from Kulon Progo, and 41 people from Sleman Regency.

Meanwhile, if referring to the case history, as many as 79 patients with tracing positive contact cases, 55 patients with self-examination, one case screening results from health workers, and 35 people who have no information.

In addition to positive patients, Berty also stated that 168 additional patients recovered, bringing the total number of cases recovered from COVID-19 in Yogyakarta to 31,667 people.

Based on the domicile area, the 168 recovered patients consisted of 39 people from Yogyakarta City, 102 people from Bantul Regency.

There were also 8 people from Gunung Kidul, 12 people from Kulon Progo, and seven people from Sleman Regency.

In addition, Berty also noted that the number of cases died in six patients, bringing the total number of cases died in Yogyakarta to 906 people.

Based on data from referral hospitals, the total suspected COVID-19 in Yogyakarta, as of Monday, was recorded at 38,128 people.

Of these, 37,150 people tested positive, of which 31,667 people recovered and 906 people died
