As Deputy Minister of PPA, Veronica Tan owns 2 electric cars and has Rp24.3 M in assets

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPA) Veronica Tan has submitted a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN) to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). This is the first time he has carried out this obligation.

Then how much is Veronica's wealth?

Veronica submitted her report on January 5 to the KPK. He actually has assets worth Rp24,688,560,550 but has been reduced to Rp24,391,380,550 because he has a debt of Rp297,180,000.

Of this amount, Veronica recorded ownership of two units of land and building assets worth Rp. 17,040,000,000. The location is in North Jakarta.

Basuki Tjahja Purnama alias Ahok's ex-wife only has two vehicles. The types are Wuling E260REV30KW in 2022 and 2024 with a value of IDR 550,000,000.

Veronica Tan also recorded ownership of other movable assets worth IDR 488,000,000; securities worth IDR 5,258,000,000; cash and cash equivalents worth IDR 858,560,550; and other assets with a value of IDR 494,000,000.

As previously reported, the period of submitting the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) to the KPK, especially for new officials in Prabowo Subianto's cabinet, ended on Tuesday, January 21 yesterday. They have three months after being sworn in on October 21, 2024.

The KPK then mentioned 123 ministerial officials and heads of ministerial-level institutions, deputy ministers, and heads of institutions at their level, as well as special envoys and staff have carried out their responsibilities. The verification process is still ongoing and the final report will be announced through e-Anniouncement on the LHKPN KPK website.
