JAKARTA - United States President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he would likely impose sanctions on Russia if President Vladimir Putin refused to negotiate over the cessation of the war in Ukraine.

President Trump also said he had urged Chinese President Xi Jinping in his call for interference to stop Ukraine's war.
