The East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim arrested a fugitive perpetrator suspected of sexually harassing the AD-Diniyah Islamic Boarding School, Pondok Kelapa Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.

The perpetrator is known to have the initials Ustaz C who is the head of the AD-Diniyah Islamic Boarding School.

In the action, Ustaz C sexually assaulted another perpetrator with the initials Ustaz MCN who is a caretaker of the AD-Diniyah Islamic Boarding School. Meanwhile, there were 5 victims of sexual harassment with the initials YI, IA, MFR, ARB and RN.

The modus operandi of the perpetrators to a number of victims began when the perpetrator asked the victim to massage him. When the invitation was followed, then the perpetrator ordered the victim to hold the genitals.

According to the victim's statement, the perpetrators of the obscenity were the head of the Islamic Boarding School with the initials Ustaz C and the caregivers of the students with the initials Ustaz MCN.

Suspect Ustaz MCN was arrested at the scene. Then Ustaz C and MCN were detained in the detention cell of the East Jakarta Metro Police.

As a result of their actions, the two suspects were charged with Article 76E in conjunction with Article 82 of the Republic of Indonesia Law NO.17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection in cases of criminal acts of obscene acts against children.

Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta Metro Police had named one Islamic boarding school teacher in the Pondok Kelapa area, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta as a suspect in the sodomy case against a male student victim.
