The Minister Of Education And Culture Has Submitted A New Format For PPDB To Prabowo

JAKARTA - Minister of Secondary Basic Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti said that his party had submitted a new format regarding the Acceptance of New Students (PPDB) to the President through a written format.

"Because there are two interests. First, it is important to coordinate with local governments and related parties," he said at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Friday, January 17, as reported by ANTARA.

Abdul Mu'ti hopes that the President can immediately ratify the new concept, because there are two further steps that must be met by his party to ensure that the new PPDB concept runs smoothly.

The next step that must be followed up is socialization to the public so that later there is no misunderstanding regarding the new concept.

The Minister of Education and Culture still doesn't want to explain the new PPDB concept he has prepared, but he has confirmed that the concept has been completed.

He explained that until the decision on the new PPDB concept has not been knocked, the zoning system that is currently in effect will still not be deleted. "Until later there will be a decision, whether it will be decided directly by the President or will the cabinet session wait until the time comes," he said.
