Bogor City DPRD Officially Appoints Dedie-Jenal As Mayor And Deputy Mayor, Inaugurated February 10

BOGOR Bogor City DPRD officially appointed Dedie A. Rachim and Jenal Mutaqin as elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bogor for the 2025 '2030 period in a plenary meeting held on Monday, January 13. The pair is scheduled to be sworn in on February 10, 2025.

The chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, chaired the meeting and read out the results of the determination that had been decided by the General Election Commission (KPU) of Bogor City through a plenary meeting.

The determination will be reported to the Minister of Home Affairs through the Governor of West Java to obtain official ratification, in accordance with Article 160 paragraph (3) of Law Number 8 of 2015.

"On behalf of the leadership and members of the DPRD, we congratulate Dedie A. Rachim and Jenal Mutaqin who have been designated as the elected mayor and deputy mayor," said Adityawarman.

He hopes that the Dedie-Jenal pair can continue the ongoing development program of the City of Bogor and build partnerships for better services to the community. "Hopefully their duties and responsibilities will always get pleasure and protection from Allah SWT," he concluded.

The elected mayor, Dedie A Rachim, said that this determination was part of the administrative process towards the inauguration. He also emphasized that the requirements had been met, and now his party is just waiting for the inauguration on February 10.

Dedie revealed that he and the elected Deputy Mayor have been invited to attend the Leadership Meeting on Wednesday. In the meeting, they will discuss work priorities that include synchronizing vision-mission, political promises, and budget changes plans.

"We have also established communication with the Acting Mayor to ensure the sustainability of the ongoing development program," explained Dedie.

This plenary session went smoothly and was attended by members of the DPRD, government officials, and community leaders. This determination marks an important step in the transition of leadership of Bogor City, with the hope that the Dedie-Jenal pair will be able to realize a more advanced, harmonious, and prosperous Bogor pair.
