SAMARINDA Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of East Kalimantan announced that the registration period for the Selection of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) Phase II for Fiscal Year 2024 was officially extended until January 15, 2025.
Initially, the deadline for registration was scheduled for January 7, 2025. However, based on Letter Number 55/B-KS.04.01/SD/K/2025 from the Head of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN), this extension decision was submitted on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
This extension aims to provide wider opportunities for non-ASN personnel who have not registered, especially those who face technical problems or have not completed administrative requirements through the SSCASN BKN portal.
"Take advantage of this additional time as best as possible. Immediately complete the files and upload the required documents before the deadline ends," said Deni, one of the East Kalimantan BKD officials.
The PPPK Phase II selection is intended for non-ASN personnel who have worked in government agencies for at least two consecutive years and meet the criteria set by the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB).
Deni emphasized that the selection of PPPK is a great opportunity for non-ASN personnel to obtain better employment status, including guarantees of welfare and career development.
"PPPK has the same rights and obligations as Civil Servants (PNS), except for certain special regulated functional positions," he added.
The East Kalimantan BKD also emphasized its commitment to support the government's program in structuring non-ASN personnel through a transparent selection mechanism.
"We hope that more and more non-ASN personnel within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government will pass the selection and can join as part of the ASN," he hoped.
