Investment Achievements In North Penajam Paser Regency Throughout 2024 Recorded At IDR 2.563 Trillion

Head of the Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) of North Penajam Paser Regency, Nurlaila, claims that the City of Nusantara has also triggered investment realization in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

Quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, January 12, 2025, investment growth in North Penajam Paser Regency began to move positively as determined by Sepaku District, some areas in the district known as Benuo Taka, as the core area of the government of the capital city of Indonesia.

Investment realization from within the country and abroad in North Penajam Paser Regency throughout 2022 was reached around Rp1.39 trillion or exceeded the target of Rp1 trillion.

Investment realization during 2023 reached IDR 2.1 trillion from the target of IDR 2.6 trillion. Despite the decline in investment realization in 2023, this illustrates that investors are starting to look at investment in North Penajam Paser Regency, with the existence of the City of Nusantara.

Investment movement in North Penajam Paser Regency in 2024 is more positive than in 2023 which was achieved around 80 percent of the target of IDR 2.6 trillion.

Investment achievement in North Penajam Paser Regency throughout 2024 was recorded at IDR 2.563 trillion. This figure exceeds the target of IDR 2.552 trillion given by the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in 2024.

The investment sectors that are widely looked at include livestock, fisheries, ports, technology-based smart farming (smart farming), logistics, property, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), tourism, and hospital development.

"About the businesses offered to investors such as the development of property, fisheries, livestock and modern agriculture and several other sectors, which have a tendency to develop in the future," he said.

Penajam Paser Regency, he said, was looked at by investors from abroad, such as Morocco, Bahrain, Cambodia, Japan, China, South Korea and Australia. Representatives from the country have reviewed the potential for suitable investments to be developed in the districts of the Kota Nusantara partners.

The district government has also prepared basic needs to make it easier for investors, including providing business incentives and preparing the infrastructure needed, said Nurlaila.
