Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri criticized the performance of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). He highlighted that this institution, which he said was only dealing with minor cases.

This was conveyed during a political speech at the PDIP 52nd Anniversary commemoration at the PDIP DPP party school, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Friday, January 10. Initially, Megawati mentioned how she formed the KPK when she served as the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"I made the KPK, you know, why are only the ones looking for chromo-kroco ngono (that's it), you know. Mbok is the right one, you know, the number is T (trillion), T ngono iku (that's it), you know. Lha ndi (mana) ngono, you know," said Megawati.

Megawati knows many people who insinuate her for often criticizing the anti-corruption commission. However, he did not want to bother with the statement.

Megawati wants the KPK to work according to its designation.

"I'll say this later, 'Oh, Mrs. Mega just criticizes, criticizes'. Well, no. People are right, you know, people are right. I want the KPK to be right," said the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Lho wong who made (KPK, ed) me too, you know, I'm confused. Except for other people (which formed, ed)," he continued.

Megawati also said that her criticism was conveyed to the KPK because the struggle to form it was not easy. The institution must also be reminded because it has the aim of completing the work of the police and the Prosecutor's Office.

"To make the KPK think about it, is it easy? No. I just had a fight first. Because what, it's an ad hoc. For what purpose, for that TAP, to help the police and the Prosecutor's Office because in carrying out their duties it is not optimal," explained the son of the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno or Bung Karno.
