TANGERANG - Heru as a fisherman on Purchase Island, Kronjo, Tangerang Regency suffered heavy losses, both his lost tools to the reduced number of catches.

He explained that when the sea fence made of bamboo appeared, he had difficulty finding fish. Because, when widening the row, sometimes the equipment is often stuck with the fence.

It is known that the Mysterious Fence extends from Teluknaga to Kronjo, Tangerang Regency. The length is estimated at 30.16 km. This also disrupts the activities of fishermen looking for fish on the beach.

"The journey is turning around, it must be a bit difficult. The Joran is stuck. Then the usual fish is 10 kg, continues to be 2 kg of fish," Heru said when met in the Fisherman's Village, Kronjo Island, Tangerang Regency, Friday, January 10, in the morning.

Moreover, the fuel for ships, which is usually only 10 liters, has now become 20 liters. Because the road is turning so it takes longer.

"Usually 10 liters, now it's 20 liters. So no one wants to leave at a loss because it's a waste of buying diesel purchase fees," he said.

Then for debriefing while looking for fish. As a result, many fishermen choose not to look for fish first.

"Then the briefing came home with losses, so you can't pay your debt, you can't pay the shop. So it's better to ride a motorcycle taxi. Anyway, make a living," he said.

Not only that, he also revealed about the fish traps he made to be lost. It is estimated that it will reach 100 bubu or fish traps.

"My mother was stuck on the fence. Then I saw it was lost. There were 100 bubu that belonged to me. Then if it was multiplied by 25 thousand, I would lose Rp. 2.5 million," he said.

He said that his income was very influential. Because for him who is on the seafront, it will be difficult to find fish.

"Those who don't get harmed are monthly or weekly fishermen. Because he has a long distance from the center to go home, he's bringing fish. Meanwhile, there are traditional fishermen here, right, so many are walking. Our boats are small, scary when we go to the middle of the sea," he said.

Therefore, he hopes that the local or central government can find solutions related to fences in the middle of this sea.

"Hopefully it can return to normal," he concluded.
