TANGERANG Heru, one of the fishermen on Kronjo Island, Tangerang Regency, revealed that the 30 kilometer (km) long wooden fence installed in the middle of the sea is part of the National Strategic Project (PSN) Agung Sedayu Group.

Heru obtained this information after he asked one of the builders who installed the fence.

Heru still explained that the builders who installed the fence were Ketapang fishermen, Pakuhaji, Tangerang Regency.

However, Heru confirmed that residents around Heru's residence did not participate in installing fences in the Tangerang sea, which is currently polemic. Because, Heru said, residents rejected the fences.

"The one who installed it, if I'm not mistaken, the fishermen from Ketapang would like to. If the residents here don't want to," he explained.

Heru also told how he spoke with the fisherman who installed the fence in the Tangerang sea.

"What for?", Heru asked the handyman who installed the fence.

"Want to install the fence," replied the handyman

"Sett ... big boss. Sea on fences. Where did you tell him to go?" Heru asked the fencer in the Tangerang sea.

"Agung Sedayu Group," said the handyman.

Previously, the 30 km long bamboo fencing stretches from Pakuhaji to Kronjo Island, in the sea of Tangerang Regency. This also has an impact on the natural ecosystem and water flow, making it difficult for fishermen to find fish.

According to VOI monitoring from Pulau Berhitung, Thursday afternoon, January 9, at 15.25 WIB, 6 meters high bamboo can be seen forming a fence in the sea of Tangerang Regency.

There is also a fence that is formed like a bridge made of wood wrapped in black and can be stepped on.

Udin, one of the Tangerang sea fishermen, admitted that he saw the bamboo fences in November 2024. He said the fence was made by dozens of people. However, at that time he could only see and could not do anything.

What makes dozens of people exist. But there are no police with the TNI. Just look at it. What to do is be confused," said Udin when met at the location, Thursday, January 9.

Udin admitted that he was disturbed by the existence of a bamboo fence on Pulau Berhitung.

"So it's difficult, when we put the net into a net, it becomes difficult," he said.
