A Dealer In Mukomuko Makes Palm Oil Plantation The Location Of Methamphetamine Transactions Arrested

The Mukomuko Police in Bengkulu Province arrested a methamphetamine drug dealer who often used the oil palm plantation land far from residential areas as a place for transactions.

Head of the Mukomuko Police Narcotics Unit AKP SMO Aritonang said the suspect drug dealer with the initials SE (25) had often made oil palm plantations on the border of Sibak Village with Rentak Mudik Village as the location of the transaction.

"We received information from the public that drug transactions often occur in oil palm plantations located on the border of Sibak Village with Rentak Mudik Village," he said in a press release Thursday, January 9, which was confiscated by Antara.

Then, he said, his party followed up on information from the community, then the Narcotics Satres personnel conducted an investigation by observing places that were the locations for drug transactions in this area.

Including, he said, checking and confirming the truth of the location of the oil palm plantation used by drug dealers to make transactions.

Then, the personnel managed to arrest SE, and from the results of the examination by the officers, evidence was obtained of a bottle of packaged plastic drink brand Le Mineral in which there was one white tissue wrapped in eight packages of crystal methamphetamine.

He said that the suspect was a network between provinces, in which he obtained evidence of methamphetamine from someone who lives in West Sumatra Province.

Furthermore, he said, his party was still developing to find out the identity of other methamphetamine dealers, both domiciled in this area and outside the region.

According to him, the success of this personnel is a form of concern for the people of Mukomuko Regency to provide information to the Mukomuko Police Narcotics Unit.

He said the drug dealer was charged with Article 114 paragraph (1) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a minimum penalty of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison.
