Man In South Jakarta Stabs His Girlfriend With A Machete Because He Hasn't Purchased A Cellphone At A Mall

JAKARTA - A woman was abused by her lover in a boarding house in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta. Based on police statement, the victim was abused by her lover for not buying a cellphone.

South Jakarta Metro Police Public Relations AKP Nurma explained that the victim's initials RM was 28 years old, he was injured by a sharp weapon of the type of machete sent by his girlfriend, MMS.

"So there is a case that happened to one woman aged 28 years. So she got 351 or the abuse by her own boyfriend", said AKP Nurma, Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Nurma explained that RM and MMS had a special relationship, a couple. According to the examination, the commotion started when MMS asked to buy a cellphone from his girlfriend, RM.

However, because there was no money, his girlfriend's request was not fulfilled. So there was a commotion that left the woman injured as a result of being stabbed by a machete.

"Close friends or dating. Then his girlfriend, MSS, as the reported party asked to buy a cellphone (mobile phone) at a mall. The victim did not accept it. After that, the reported came to his girlfriend's boarding house. After that, there was a bad treatment for RM. "said Nurma.

As a result of the violence perpetrated by his lover, RM, who is a private employee, suffered lacerations to his arm.

The victim made a report and until now the perpetrator is still being sought by the police.
