Jakarta Weather Alert Today: Lightning Rain In The Morning, Cloudy At Night

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rain accompanied by lightning will hit all areas of DKI Jakarta on Thursday, January 9, in the morning.

Thunderstorms are predicted to occur in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands.

Rain conditions are expected to continue until noon in most areas of Jakarta, including East Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and Central Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands Regency on Thursday afternoon is expected to experience thick cloudy weather.

On Thursday night, thick cloudy weather is predicted to cover all areas of DKI Jakarta, including South Jakarta, Thousand Islands, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Central Jakarta.

The temperature in DKI Jakarta is estimated to range from 23 to 29 degrees Celsius.

BMKG also reported that the wind speed in DKI Jakarta on that day was estimated to range from 2 to 24 kilometers per hour.
