Anticipating The HMPV Virus, Soetta Airport Activates Thermo Scanner At The Door Of International Arrival

TANGERANG - Soekarno-Hatta Health Quarantine Center (BBKK) (Soetta) activated thermo scanner at Terminal 2 and 3 of Soetta International arrivals, Tangerang City. This was done to anticipate the discovery of a case of the Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) virus in Indonesia.

"And if necessary, sampling is done for lab examination," he said.

In addition, his party also provides a mini laboratory at the International Arrival Terminal 3 health post to facilitate the examination of travelers who have symptoms.

"We are also preparing a message for education about the practice of clean and healthy living as well as health protocols," he said.
