5 Elementary School Boy Bobol Warung Kelontong In Kemayoran, Rp500 Thousand Lost

A group of minors compactly broke into a grocery shop on Jalan Kampung Irian, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta. As a result of the theft, the victim suffered a loss of Rp. 500 thousand.

According to the victim S, the owner of the shop, the theft took place on December 30, 2024. According to S, the group of children consisted of 1 man and 4 women.

"When I served girls who bought snacks and toys outside the shop, a boy sneaked into the shop," said the victim with the initials S, Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Then the boy went up to the storefront and stole a wallet containing Rp500 thousand in cash. The boy is estimated to be still in elementary school.

"After I checked again at the place of the money, and wanted to calculate the proceeds of the sale, the money was not there. It was gone," he said.

The victim admitted that the face of the group of children was not a local resident.

The perpetrator's actions were also caught on CCTV cameras at the shop. After launching the action, the group of children left the location.

The victim plans to report the incident to the Kemayoran Police for further investigation.
