Back From Kampung, Mess Employees In Cempaka Putih Claim To Lose Gold

JAKARTA - The theft of gold jewelry occurred in an employee mess, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta. The victim with the initials A lost 50 grams of gold jewelry.

The Head of the Cempaka Putih Police, Kompol Sulistiyo Yudo Pangestu, said that his party had received a police report regarding the theft of gold. The case of the disappearance of tens of grams of gold was discovered by the owner on December 31, 2024.

Kompol Sulistiyo said, initially the victims of the Christmas and New Year homecoming went to their hometown on December 24, 2024. Then the victim returned to Jakarta on December 30, 2024.

The day after, the victim only found out if the gold weighing 50 grams disappeared from its place.

"There are no 31 items checked," said Kompol Sulistiyo when confirmed, Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The victim then reported the case of losing the gold to the Cempaka Putih Police.

The police rushed to the crime scene (TKP) to investigate the alleged theft case.

"After that, he came to the police station, from the response police, checked the crime scene," he said.

Currently, the police have questioned three witnesses in the case.

"Still investigating, have asked witnesses," he said.
