Just One Day Running, DPR Leaders Can't Value Free Nutrition Eating Programs Successful Or Failed

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives for Korpolkam, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said that his party has not been able to assess whether the free nutritious food program that has been run by the government has succeeded or failed. The reason is, the Prabowo-Gibran government's mainstay program has only been running for one day.

"In one day of course we have not been able to give an assessment that was successful or unsuccessful. But in all we see that the MBG program which has been running for the first time has received a good response from the community," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 7.

Dasco ensured that the DPR would continue to assist the government so that the free nutritious food program would run better in the future.

Regarding the slow distribution of free nutritious food and the absence of a milk menu in Jakarta, Dasco said, the DPR would provide input to the government.

"Yes, if there is a distribution issue, regarding other things that are still not right, later the commission in question in the DPR will conduct RDP with the government in the context of implementing this MBG to provide input to make it better," he said.

Responding to rumors that the implementation of free nutritious food is still partially using President Prabowo Subianto's personal budget, Dasco will still find out.

"I don't know for sure whether it's Mr. Prabowo's budget or where it came from, so I can't convey it yet," said the daily chairman of the Gerindra DPP.
